If you could only see the magazine that this spread came from. Its from 1979, and to say its falling apart is being kind. With every turn of a page something else rips or falls out. It's an absolute goldmine of quality vintage porno too; it should be in a museum. If it were an example of another type of art it would be in a dark room handled by elderly esthetes wearing white gloves and using tweezers to turn the pages. Instead its only hope for preservation is half drunk me, mayonnaise dripping down my chin, considering using it as a coaster for my beer. The world is doomed.
Franco Arbruzzi also made an appearance in what I have referred to as The Gay Book in previous posts.
You can tell by the way I 'carefully' cut him out of "The Hairy Chested Male" that I should be no curator. (If you're wondering who the other guy is, he just happened to be on the opposing page of the book, so I included him).
For your viewing pleasure, more Franco:

My counter passed 150,000 today AND I got a check from Naked Sword for 50$ so please accept my thanks for reading/wanking to this little blog.
Of course, I have a friend whose blog about fashion gets 7,000 hits a day and is so lucrative she may quit her day job as a lawyer, but I'll take what I can get.

You gotta love the outfits in this spread. Jock straps with knee socks, headbands and leather hot pants. When is that look coming back? Plus he works that pouty little handle bar moustache "I'm thinking deep thoughts" look. The type makes me a little sad however. If its not complete fiction--which it may well be--it's practically foreshadowing that Joe ends up dead. If youre too lazy too read it, he basically talks about being a swinger in 1979 gay New York, and we all know what happened a few years later. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic though...in researching this post I found that he did a spread for Men in 1987, so hopefully Joe is alive and well today. Anyone know?
Update: I'm sad to report that Joe did in fact die of AIDS according to this website.
